Blending is the official magazine of Florence University of the Arts. As a design intern, I collaborated with the school’s design department and a team of interns to concept a cohesive visual theme, design editorial layouts, and assemble the final publication. I designed three spreads and wrote an article that was selected out of hundreds of student submissions to be published in the final issue.
Intended Results: Produce professional-grade editorial layout and writing that captures the student experience and drives interest in the university.
Target Audience: FUA students and their families, prospective study abroad students, and Florence community members following the school.
Why It Works: The layout balances editorial photography with the text and stays unified within the magazine’s visual theme. The article is personal, grounded in firsthand experience, and honest.
Assets Created: Page layouts, published article, cover brainstorm ideations.
